Green Apple Smoothie

I love the variety of ingredients in this green smoothie. Green apples are naturally low in sugar and high in fiber.
If you prefer a low-sugar smoothie, use zucchini only, and skip the bananas. If you like it slightly sweet, use a combination of zucchini and banana, or banana only if you don't have frozen zucchinis.
Another tip for making this smoothie: if you have a high-speed blender, there's no need to peel the apple. If you are using a regular blender, then it's better to peel and finely dice the apple for a creamier smoothie.

— 1/4 cup frozen white or green zucchini
— 1/2 small ripe frozen banana
— 1 sliced green apple
— 1/2 cup spinach
— 1 scoop Vanilla Essentials Shake
— 1 tbsp cashew butter
— 1 1/2 cups unsweetened flaxseed milk(*)
