This Vanilla Smoothie recipe has a crunchy and nutty taste, thanks to the cacao nibs and almond butter.

Smoothies for breakfast are a great way to get your nutrients in, but you can really enjoy them at any time of the day.

They're also perfect for before and after a workout, amazing for a lunch on the go and also good for when you need to satisfy your sweet tooth cravings.

What's so different about this Vanilla Smoothie? It's super crunchy! (You'll get some crunchy bits to chew on. Plus a break from the smooth and creamy texture smoothies normally have.)

If you don't like the crunchy texture, just add and blend almond butter and cacao nibs with all the other ingredients and not just at the end. Or just use smooth almond butter instead.

It was inspired by one of my favorite Italian gelato flavors, Stracciatella that unites creamy vanilla gelato with dark chocolate slivers. Plus, the chia seeds can add a nutritious crunch to it!
