If you’re looking for a new flavor for your morning smoothie this Banana Chai smoothie has a unique and flavorful combination — it’s both nice and cold, and warms you up at the same time!

Cinnamon adds a burst of spice that brightens the whole shake.

The ingredients in this smoothie pack in tons of healthy fats, dietary fibre, protein, vitamins, and minerals.

Maca is an optional ingredient, if it’s your first time using it opt for gelatinized maca as it contains a much higher concentration of nutrients. Maca is known for increase energy levels, balance hormones, improve fertility and enhance your memory.

1/2 ripe frozen banana

1 scoop Vanilla Essentials Shake

1 tsp chia seeds

1 tsp gelatinized maca powder (optional)

1 1/2 cup flaxseed milk (*)

1 tbsp cashew butter

a dash of cinnamon powder

a pinch of pink Himalayan sea salt

*OR 1 cup of nut milk of your choice + 1/2 cup cold filtered water
