This green apple smoothie is packed with nutritious fruits and veggies for a healthy and satisfying breakfast or snack. It has a tart but sweet, distinct green apple flavor.

A blend of spinach, green apple, zucchini, banana, and the Essentials Shake is just what your body needs for an energizing boost.

I love the variety of ingredients in this green smoothie. Green apples are naturally low in sugar and high in fiber.

If you prefer a low-sugar smoothie, use zucchini only, and skip the bananas. If you like it slightly sweet, use a combination of zucchini and banana, or banana only if you don't have frozen zucchinis.

Another tip for making this smoothie: if you have a high-speed blender, there's no need to peel the apple. If you are using a regular blender, then it's better to peel and finely dice the apple for a creamier smoothie.

— 1/2 small ripe frozen banana

— 1 sliced green apple

— 1 tbsp cashew butter
