I know it may seem odd to add avocado to a smoothie... especially if this is your first time trying it. Usually, when we think about avocado, the first thing that comes to mind is savory guac.

But avocado has a very mild flavor, which makes it go well in both sweet and savory dishes. So, you’ll be pleasantly surprised at how well the flavors work together in this smoothie.

Interestingly enough, growing up in Brazil, avocados were always consumed mostly in the form of smoothies.

The mix of banana, avocado, and cashew butter makes this smoothie super creamy.

And did I mention how incredibly satisfying it is? So if you know you’ll have a long morning in-between meetings or simply will have a late lunch I highly recommend this recipe in particular for breakfast.

Make sure your bananas are ripe before freezing them to make this smoothie. You can swipe the cashew butter and use almond or peanut butter if you prefer.
