Strawberry Banana Smoothie: A Classic Blend

A classic strawberry banana smoothie couldn’t be out of our smoothie recipes collection. The secret here to a creamy smoothie is to use frozen bananas!

If it’s summer, you should definitely check out your local Farmer’s Market on the weekends and get some organic strawberries for this smoothie.

This refreshing strawberry and banana smoothie is one way you can beat the heat while enjoying fresh summer fruit.

This smoothie will have a stronger strawberry flavor if you use fruit in season. Otherwise, frozen strawberries will work too.

A note on frozen fruit: they’re often picked at the peak of freshness and freezing them doesn’t compromise their nutrient density. This makes them perfect for healthy fruit smoothie recipes.

I suggested cashew butter that has a mild flavor (so you can really taste the strawberry) compared to peanut or almond butter but feel free to use whatever you have on hand, all of them will work just fine.

Also, you can swap out the flaxseed milk for any milk you have at home. This makes for a delicious 5-minute breakfast smoothie recipe, and no excuse to skip it ;)
