Yogi & Co-Founder of The Xanadu Life
Heidi’s love for life and adventure is infectious; from the heights of free fall skydiving to the depths of the ocean blue, to trekking up to the top of Machu Picchu to the depths of the Grand Canyon, she loves it all.
With her BFA in Graphic Design and Marketing from CSUF she helps companies communicate their story more effectively and elegantly through both strategic web and print design. After college, she continued her education in Yoga Therapy at Loyola Marymount University and is grateful for the opportunities she gets to spread her love for yoga. She loves teaching at oceanfront Equinox Huntington Beach, to using yoga as a therapy for special needs kids at UCP, to teaching at a variety of festivals including Lighting in a Bottle, Further Future, Genius Loci, and Desert Hearts.
Heidi has most recently sought to create a community beyond the yoga studio that took the body, mind, and spirit connection outside where fresh air and sunshine naturally cultivate happy healthy relationships between each other and the earth we live on. With that intention, Heidi, along with her fiance Ryan Blackstock, co-created a non-profit organization called The Xanadu Life whose mission is to revolutionize the world’s way of living by inspiring wellness, education, and green living through unique experiences and playful connectivity. Xanadu hosts a variety of outdoor events including monthly Coastal Cleanups, Sunset Yoga Socials, Adventure Camp for Adults on Catalina Island, and other backpacking/camping trips.
