Raspberry & Vanilla Smoothie

A tweaked version of the traditional strawberry vanilla smoothie. Raspberry is one of my favorite berries and I've made it into a super simple, tasty smoothie. It’ll keep you energized all morning long!

This smoothie is creamy and sweet. Plus, the color is beautiful! 

And it's a reminder that we can have a valentine smoothie date with our loved ones any day of the year.

A delicately sweet and slightly tart raspberry flavor combined with the sweetness and creaminess of a ripe banana.

If raspberries are in season, check out your closest Farmer's Market and you can use them fresh. Just make sure to use frozen bananas to add creaminess to the smoothie.

You can make this smoothie with yogurt, either Greek style or coconut if you prefer. And add a bit of cold filtered water if it's too thick.

WHAT YOU NEED

1/2 cup frozen raspberries

1/2 ripe frozen banana

1 scoop Vanilla Essentials Shake

1 1/2 cup flaxseed milk(*)

1 tsp chia seeds

1 tbsp cashew butter

1/4 tsp alcohol free vanilla extract (optional)

*1 cup of nut milk of your choice + 1/2 cup cold filtered water
