Mom finally let us post her delicious, mouth-watering cookie recipe.

Do you have a sweet tooth? These banana and chocolate cookies are sure to kick your cravings to the curb. Don't worry, we won't judge you for eating the whole batch.

Sunday afternoons at my parents’ is always a good time. Being one of 5, it’s usually a FULL house and a lot is going on… especially when a game is being played (almost always).

My mom is usually busy preparing a nice Sunday dinner for our big Italian family, which can sometimes take all day… which is why it’s great that these cookies usually come out in advance.

Oh... that banana smell... that warm combination of sweet banana and chocolatey delight. Usually she doubles the batch because they were rarely making it to dessert.

They've become a staple in our household and a sweet treat to look forward to! I hope you love them as much as we do!

WHAT YOU NEED

  • 4 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup rolled certified gluten-free oats
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder
  • 2 scoops Chocolate Essentials Shake
  • 3/4 cup of cacao nibs or extra dark chocolate chips
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 cup chia seed
