This Cacao Coconut Smoothie is creamy, chocolaty, and only slightly sweet — using a combination of zucchini and banana — and a healthy breakfast option for busy mornings.

Adding our Essentials Shake makes this smoothie even more filling to start your day on the right foot.

What else can you have for breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, or a snack and feel good about yourself? Smoothies! This has become one of my go-to smoothies.

Coconut is the star of this recipe, giving the smoothie plenty of healthy fat, fiber, and flavor. Coconut butter is optional if it's hard to find. You can also use coconut cream instead of milk and add a 1/2 cup of cold filtered water.

Cacao and coconut truly taste like a dessert, so enjoy it!

WHAT YOU NEED

— 1/2 cup frozen white or green zucchini

— 1/2 small frozen ripe banana

— 1 tbsp coconut butter (optional)

— 1 scoop Chocolate Essentials Shake

— 1 tsp cacao powder

— 1 tbsp cacao nibs

— 1 tbsp sheered coconut

— 1 cup unsweetened coconut milk(*)

*OR 1 cup unsweetened nut milk of your choice and 1/2 cold filtered water
