Almond Chia Seed Waffles

Weekend mornings deserve a breakfast that takes a little extra time but not extra effort to make. These almond grain-free waffles are incredibly satisfying and well-rounded in nutrients.

INGREDIENTS

  • ¾ cup Almond flour
  • 1 scoop of Vanilla Chai "Daily Essentials"
  • 1 tbsp Coconut flour
  • ½ tsp Baking powder
  • ½ cup Almond butter (unsalted & unsweetened)
  • 3 tbsp Coconut oil
  • 2 organic Eggs
  • 2 tbsp Chia seeds
  • ¾ cup unsweetened Almond milk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract to taste

TOPPINGS:

  • 3 tbsp Almond butter
  • 3 tbsp Almond butter

PREPARATION

Combine all the wet ingredients and using a spatula stir well. In a different bowl combine all the dry ingredients. Turn on your waffle machine to medium high temperature. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until you have a homogeneous dough. Pour 3 to 4 Tbsp of the dough into the waffle maker and wait until is ready! Serve with almond butter, fresh blueberries, and whatever else you feel like having!
